Zinc and uses

Zinc, in its pure form was discovered in the year 1746 with the help of an experiment by the person who discovered the metal. The most important commercial use of zinc includes its use in deodorants in the form of zinc chloride and also in luminescent paints in the form of zinc sulfide. There are medical stuffs too based on this metal. With the excess use of the metal zinc, intake of this metal may cause some disease like ataxia, lethargy and to an extend copper deficiency. It has got a good amount of use in biochemistry as some enzymes have got zinc metal with them.
