Radiant barriers are materials that which reflects the radiant heat back to your home during winter season. It is used to reflect the radiant heat out of the house during summer seasons. The installation process is very important, such that the insulation should not produce any sort of problem. So the installation must be accompanied by good ventilation. But there has been a report against the radiant barriers during the installation process. It was installed on attic floor instead of installing directly on the roof decking. This lead to a bigger problem of building up of moisture content because of poor ventilation combined with poor installation. There problem with the radiant barriers are quite easy to be diagnosed. Just have a glance at your attic. If the insulation is found in decking then, it does not create any problem.
